Miramar is run by the City. Its new fee schedule took effect July 1, 2026. What you pay depends on three things: the vehicle, whether the load came from inside the City of San Diego, and whether it is construction debris.
| Load | Trash, from the City | Trash, from outside | Construction debris, from the City | Construction debris, from outside |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1: car, SUV, or trailer up to 9 ft with nothing in the vehicle | $75 | $86 | $108 | $122 |
| Tier 2: vehicle plus trailer, modified pickup, box truck | $148 | $156 | $352 | $374 |
| Tier 3: roll-off container, dump truck and similar | $641 | $681 | $1,513 | $1,623 |
| Weighed loads, per ton | $102 | $108 | $241 | $257 |
Tier 3 is the flat rate a hauler pays to tip a full roll-off at Miramar: $1,513 when the load is remodel debris from inside the City, against $641 for ordinary trash. That gap is a big reason construction-debris dumpsters cost more here than household cleanouts. Haulers can use other facilities, so ask where your load is going and what the quote assumes.
Hand unloading stops at 4 pm.
